I took a look at this book and fell in love. The combination of large images and large format makes this perfect for group sharing. The rhymes move in a perfect rhythm for reading aloud and gives a nice little lesson in opposites. The image of the hairy dog is guaranteed to make someone smile. There are many picture books out there that take in dogs in all their forms and functions, but I would like to say that nobody does it better than this. A superb effort that will go in my permanent collection story time. An enormous recommend for toddlers and preschool children.
Dogs by Emily Gravett is a good choice for dog lovers. My 2-year-old granddaughter, I’ve read it over and over again. It also teaches some dog breeds by pictures.I would share it with all children.
